The Off Road Adventure tour is two hours in length. You will be taken out in a modern, customized Suburban with A/C or an OPEN TOP Adventure Tour which will involve rugged and bumpy travel. Unlike other Jeep tours available locally EACH tour will get it's own driver / guide. This is not "caravan tour". With our tour you will be able to choose the route that suites your needs. Routes vary from Mild to Wild.
Our tour is the only Jeep tour on the Outer Banks driven by a professional tour guide. Both tours offer stories of an era gone by, local lore and ecology. The tour drives you past the Whalehead Club and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, commonly referred to as the Corolla Light and gives a brief overview of each. From there we hit the beach for two hours and cover miles of pristine beaches and see sights you just won’t believe. We commonly see surfing dolphins and the occasional fox, deer, and wild Boar.
Please note that we are no longer located at the Inn at Corolla Light Motel. Wild Horse Adventure Tours and Topless Beach Tours is now located at the Shoppes At Currituck Club. Come see our new office, we have a salt water aquarium for the kids and an art gallery for the adults. Our guests can touch live Outer Banks sealife such as a Sea Urchins and shop for unique art from local photographers and artists.
